This full-time contract opportunity offers up to 40 hours per week serving a diverse caseload of primarily early childhood students, ranging from PreK through 12th grade. You’ll work on-site in a collaborative and supportive setting, focusing on fostering communication skills that help students succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications:

• Hold active Michigan SLP licensure and ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Experience supporting communication development in school-aged children, especially in early childhood populations
• Those presenting as Clinical Fellows (CF) must secure a supervising SLP before starting
• Ability to work full-time on-site; remote/virtual options are not being considered
• Commitment to maintaining required credentials (verify Michigan license if needed)
• Collaborative, flexible, and dedicated to supporting student achievement

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct and consultative speech therapy to students, primarily in early childhood grades
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
• Document sessions and progress according to school and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
