Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings
Compensation: $100 per group, 2 groups per night
Benefits: Per-group / per-diem role with no benefits.
Position Overview
Perennial Recovery is seeking an experienced and dependable Evening Group Facilitator to lead 2 groups per night within our PHP/IOP outpatient substance use disorder treatment program. This role requires professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain a safe and structured therapeutic environment. At times, the facilitator may be the only staff member physically present in the building while multiple clients are onsite. The ideal candidate must be confident working independently, managing group dynamics, and maintaining safety and accountability.
Responsibilities
• Facilitate 2 structured SUD groups each scheduled evening.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and therapeutic group environment.
• Use appropriate group management, boundary-setting, and engagement skills.
• Monitor client behavior and respond appropriately to clinical or behavioral concerns.
• Communicate significant issues or incidents to leadership promptly.
• Complete required documentation in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
• Experience facilitating groups in the substance use disorder treatment field is required.
• LADAC II preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related behavioral health field accepted.
• Strong clinical judgment, reliability, and comfort working independently with clients onsite.
