Sheet Metal Technician

Sheet Metal FabricatorThe successful candidate will fabricate and assembly sheet metal products by precisely measuring, cutting, shaping and joining metal sheets by using specialized machinery and hand tools. 1st shift, 7am - 3:30pm.Key Responsibilities:Setup and operation on bending and sheet metal forming equipment (expanders, hydraulic forming presses, band saws, light/heavy deburring)Press Brake Set up and operationSetup and Operate ShearWork to daily priorities, adhering to manufacturing schedulesSet up press fixturesReading and interpreting blueprints and work instructionsHand fabricationQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent3+ years of Aerospace sheet metal experienceDeburr experience (use of abrasive and finishing buffing wheels)Ability to use calipers, micrometers, indicators, tape measures, pie tapes, go - no go gages.Use of band saws including cut to scribe templet lines.Blueprint reading experienceStrong math and problem solvingAttention to detailAbout Us:Howmet Aerospace Inc.
