Location: Bay Area, TX
Number of Beds: 24
Number of Staff: 50
Day Shift Staff: 1 CNC, 12 RNs, 1 Unit Secretary, 1-3 sitters/week
Night Shift Staff: 1 CNC, 12 RNs, 1-3 sitters/week
Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
Type of Equipment: Vents, Swans, Impella's, Balloon pumps
EMR: Not specified
Typical Hiring Profile
- Must-Have Skills: Candidates without ICU experience will not be considered.
- Preferred Skills:
- Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
- Cardiovascular surgery experience
Typical Procedures Performed
- Intubation
- Central lines
- Bronchoscopy
- EVDs
- ICP monitoring
- Swan Ganz catheterization
- Temporary pacing
- Bolts insertion
Personality Fit
Excellent customer service skills are essential.

Work Schedule
Every other weekend required. May be placed on call if not needed on the scheduled shift, but only for that shift. No additional call expectations.
