CDL A Laborers

CDL A Laborers $23.00 per hour with a CDL A + prevailing wages PK Contracting, Inc. Michigan’s leading pavement marking contractor, is looking for people to join our team in Troy, MI for the 2026 construction season. The road worke r position will perform general labor activities associated with the installation of various types of pavement markings. Driving and operating equipment are required. All work is performed outdoors, on all types of Michigan roadways. May use specialized equipment to place and remove pavement markings that are important for worker and public safety as well as project efficiency. Job Duties and Responsibilities Work on a team with others Driving and maneuvering in constricted areas Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, peeling Traffic device placement and removal Possess effective communication skills A safety-conscious attitude Attention to detail Ability to read and use a tape measure Ability to use and apply basic math skills Possess a good sense of direction and ability to read a map Ability to travel out of town as needed Requirements A valid CDL A Good driving record (driving records are obtained on applicants) Ability to pass a physical and drug screen Safety-conscious attitude Good attitude and willingness to learn Be on time This is a seasonal position What PK has to offer 23.00 per hour with a CDL A + prevailing wages Overtime after 8 hours each day 401k program with employer match Medical benefits programs Company paid life insurance A culture that strives to be the best Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift 6/7 days a week Weekend availability #J-18808-Ljbffr Hirebridge
