Management and Program Assistant

Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.
Identifies potential and actual problems, probable causes; researches specific issues, gathers pertinent statistics or information, reports findings and may recommend corrective action for the full scope of a program or function.
Monitors, reviews, and evaluates operations and interrelationships with other functions regarding workflow, work redundancy, or systemic problems.
Randomly verifies completeness of specific sets of controls, accuracy of procedures, and timeliness and effectiveness of actions.
Revises procedures, controls, etc., as indicated by studies or assigned by analyst.
Prepares memoranda, reports, and charts showing findings or recommendations.
