Neonatologist

Pediatrix & Obstetrix

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatologist to join their team at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to provide high-quality neonatal care in a collaborative, high-acuity environment. The position is ideal for neonatologists seeking both advanced clinical experience and a balanced lifestyle in a growing regional healthcare setting.

Practice Info

  • 19-bed High Level II Equivalent (Level II EQ) NICU
  • Caring for neonates as early as 28 weeks gestation
  • Average daily census of 11-13 infants
  • Integrated, physician-led network of 28 neonatologists, 42 neonatal nurse practitioners, and 2 physician assistants
  • Exposure to advanced clinical care and technologies, including ECMO, high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV), and oscillator ventilation
  • Participation in clinical research

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality neonatal care
  • Attend high-risk deliveries for infants <35 weeks gestation or as clinically indicated

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neonatology
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to obtain AZ licensure
