Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, blood products, antibiotics, and other specialized medications that cannot be taken orally. Infusion RNs are responsible for monitoring patients during the infusion process to ensure correct dosing and no adverse reactions. They also play an important role in patient education, teaching patients and their families how to care for their IV lines at home and what to do in case of complications. Stability Job ID #L-841625.
