Responsibilities Inspection program management. Ensure reliability of the safety‑related structural and material health of the reactor vessel and associated safety equipment required for safe reactor shutdown. Establish and define the inspection strategy and advocate for resolution of identified issues. Ensure work complies with applicable codes and standards and provide interpretation and deviation guidance as appropriate. Assure all engineering products are in accordance with safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements. Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision. Support engineering work functions. Execute other job assignments and duties as directed by management or company policy, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in other departments. Minimum Qualifications (Entry Level) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear). Maintain required access and medical examination or testing as applicable to position duties. Minimum Qualifications (Mid Level) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. Maintain required access and medical examination or testing as applicable to position duties. Minimum Qualifications (Senior Level) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. Maintain required access and medical examination or testing as applicable to position duties. Preferred Qualifications Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering degrees strongly preferred.
