Legacy One Volleyball Club is heading into its second season in the Bay Area. The club is led by master coach 2-time Olympian and USA Volleyball Hall of Famer Keba Phipps. In our first season our 13U team finished in the top 15 of the NCVA league and top 10 in two national qualifiers. Our 15U team finished in the top 30% of the NCVA league and finished in the top 25% in national qualifier. The club is focused on developing elite college ready athletes by incorporating rigorous focus on mastering technique and increasing game IQ. We also focus on supporting our players academic development and mental well-being by having on staff a mental performance coach. We are seeking a highly motivated Head or Assistant Club Volleyball Coach for a part-time contract position based in East Palo Alto, CA. The Coach will support our Master Coach in developing and executing practice plans, providing guidance and mentorship to players, and fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities include assisting with training sessions, teaching volleyball techniques and strategies, coordinating with team members, and encouraging an atmosphere of teamwork and respect. The role will also involve collaboration with fellow staff to ensure the success of the volleyball program. Qualifications Strong Volleyball knowledge and experience, including playing and/or coaching at a competitive level A highly competitive mindset and willingness to develop elite standards for development. Willingness to learn and support the Legacy One training techniques and philosophy Proficiency in Coaching and Training for skill development and team strategies Excellent Communication skills to effectively mentor and motivate players Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team culture Capability to travel to Northern California and national tournaments Capability to be at afternoon, evening and weekend practices Requirements - Coach will assist in coaching 2 teams throughout the season. Teams would potentially be girls 13U and 15U team. The season runs from Nov'26 to May'27 - Required to attend approximately 4 evening practices a week - Travel between Jan-May'27 would entail approximately 4-5 weekends in Sacramento. 3-4 weekends at National qualifiers.
