Industrial   Forklift Operator |  South Charlotte |1 st   shift | $20 .00- $23.00per hour DOE | Monday - Friday  7 :00a m – 6 :00p m

What Matters Most

• 1st Shift:  7:00 am  – 6:00 pm Monday  – Friday
• Pay:  $20.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE
• 3+ years of industrial 25K pound forklift experience 
• Experience handling piping (both carbon and stainless steel)
• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. (with the proper lifting equipment)
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Location:  South Charlotte 28273

• Steel toed shoes required

Job Description

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mop.  Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times
• Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager

Job Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving
• 3+ years of industrial 25K pound forklift experience 
• Forklift Certification required
• Experience handling pipe (both carbon and stainless steel)
• Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
• Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• A minimum of 40 hours per week

Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
