This inpatient hospital provides diagnostic radiology services across multiple imaging modalities, with all imaging interpretation conducted remotely via telehealth. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support accurate and timely diagnostic report generation. Locum tenens coverage is sought beginning October 2026 on an ongoing basis.

Louisville offers a range of cultural and recreational attractions for clinicians on assignment. Notable destinations include the Louisville Slugger Museum, the Muhammad Ali Center, Churchill Downs, and the Kentucky Derby Museum, as well as the Kentucky Science Center and Louisville Mega Cavern, which features an underground zipline course. The city also provides performing arts venues, the Urban Bourbon Trail, and outdoor spaces such as Waterfront Park and Iroquois Park, with day trips to nearby destinations including Mammoth Cave accessible from the area.

The diagnostic radiologist will provide 100% remote diagnostic imaging interpretation services via telehealth, covering day shifts from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM, seven days per week. Primary responsibilities include interpreting studies across CT, plain film, MRI, and ultrasound modalities, with an expected volume of 26-30 studies per shift. The modality breakdown is approximately 54% CT, 34% plain film, 10% MRI, and 2% ultrasound. Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required, and no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
