We are a therapist- and woman-owned and operated company.Position Overview:As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges, improve their speech and language skills, and achieve their educational goals. Your expertise will be essential in promoting students' overall success and well-being in the school environment.Expected Hours: 22-30 hours per week with potential to increase to 37.5 full- timeRequirements:SLP FL State licensureASHA certificationAdditional Details: Escambia County is seeking an SLP to provide services for a private school in downtown Pensacola, FL.  The position is anticipated to be part-time (22.5-30 hours per week) initially with the potential to increase to 37.5 hours. The position would serve 1 private school serving students in K-12. An in person candidate is strongly preferred.   Responsibilities:The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide evidence-based speech and language pathology interventions and strategies to improve students' communication, articulation, fluency, and language skills.Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other members of the school-based team to create and implement strategies that support students' participation in the classroom and social activities.Monitor and document students' progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.Offer guidance and education to parents, teachers, and support staff on strategies to enhance students' communication skills and facilitate carryover into the classroom.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes, progress reports, and billing documentation.Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and techniques in speech-language pathology.Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, team meetings, and school-based professional development opportunities.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards governing speech-language pathology services in schools.What our employees say about working for us:"Culture is friendly and inclusive.""Everyone is very supportive and willing to help each other."
