Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Clinical Psychologist to become a part of our team, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process managed by the VA. In this role, you will assess behavioral health records through a secure online portal and carry out thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.

• Perform in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
• Examine and interpret electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Document findings accurately and complete the necessary VA forms.

Note: This position does not include treatment or medication prescriptions. The determination of disability is conducted by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the psychologist.

• Schedule: Part-Time, 2-3 days per week (with an option for an additional telehealth day if desired).
• Location: In-person role.
• Caseload: Average of 4 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

• A caring Psychologist who is passionate about assisting the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical abilities for reviewing medical records and assessment data.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based systems.
• A professional and empathetic approach when engaging with Veterans.

• Possesses a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA Accredited program.
• Holds an active and unrestricted Psychology license.
• Comfortable utilizing technology for record reviews and documentation.

• Competitive hourly rate: $53/hr - $60/hr (based on experience).
