What You'll Be Doing

• Utilize advanced radiographic and CT methods to generate high-quality diagnostic images for physician analysis
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure precise diagnoses
• Position patients accurately and adjust equipment settings for optimal imaging results
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues
• Keep comprehensive records, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance updates
• Provide empathetic patient care throughout the imaging process
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and effective imaging environment

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• Completion of an accredited radiology program

Certification Requirements

• ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
• Current BLS certification or the capability to obtain it within 90 days of hire

Essential Skills

• Familiarity with diagnostic imaging protocols and safety standards
• Strong communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere while remaining adaptable
• A keen attention to detail coupled with a strong sense of accountability
• Comfort with technology, including PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
