Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse - $1,715 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Responsibilities Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment. Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs. Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patient. Educate patients on surgical procedures. Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician. Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift up to 20 pounds routinely; lift up to 50 pounds as necessary; work in a fast‑paced environment with potentially confused, agitated, or uncooperative patients. Requirements Active BLS certification (minimum 1.5 years). 1–2 years recent acute care experience. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
