This is a General Labor PositionJob SummaryThe Shrink Wrap Associate ensures all products, individual items, and fully loaded pallets are securely wrapped to protect them from environmental damage, shifting, or tampering during shipment. The role requires operating packaging machinery, maintaining strict quality control, and adhering to warehouse safety regulations. Core ResponsibilitiesOperate Machinery: Set up, adjust, and monitor shrink-wrap machines, heat guns, and automated heat tunnels.Manual Packaging: Manually wrap individual items, bundle retail packages, or secure large pallet loads with plastic film when required.Load Conforming: Arrange, stack, and align finished products on pallets or conveyor belts to optimize balance before wrapping.Quality Control: Inspect completed packages for defects like holes, weak seals, or misalignment, and re-wrap items if necessary.Labeling & Staging: Apply shipping labels, barcodes, and inventory tags to wrapped goods before moving them to outbound shipping areas.Equipment Maintenance: Clean machinery, replace worn materials like film rolls or tape, and perform minor troubleshooting.Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace while strictly following all OSHA guidelinesCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $17.00Job SummaryJob number: 586866Profession: Warehouse/Distribution/Logistics
