In this role, you will deliver friendly and accurate service, assisting members with routine transactions and inquiries while promoting our credit union products and services. Job Specifications: - Job Type: Full-Time, Contract to hire - Location: 3 openings, 1 at each location in Kentwood, MI, Rockford MI and Grandville, MI - Shift: Day Shift Roles and Responsibilities: Perform member transactions accurately using the CBX system. Respond to members’ questions, concerns, and requests for assistance in a friendly and professional manner. Provide information on credit union products and services, including loans, business accounts, and fiduciary accounts. Process members check and maintain a cash drawer or pod, accurately balancing funds throughout the workday. Handle member transaction requests, such as credit card advances, money orders, and cashier’s checks, following credit union procedures. Collaborate with internal departments to research and resolve member issues efficiently. Provide frontline support at other branch locations as needed. Participate in community events to enhance the organization’s public presence. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: 1-3 years of experience in a financial institution or related field or relatable experience with cash handling, customer service and good computer skills High school education or GED required. Strong interpersonal skills for effective conflict resolution and relationship building. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Basic mathematical skills and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Time management and multitasking skills. Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds occasionally and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
