Job Description The principle responsibilities of this position is to help make sure that production scheduled for CNC Equipment is completed in an effective and efficient manner. The CNC Machine Operator selects appropriate settings and makes adjustments as necessary, and is responsible for operating one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment, depending on training. Under direct supervision, the CNC Machine Operator: Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products manually or by mechanized means. Transfers finished products and raw materials about plant and warehouse, using carts, dollies or forklift. Delivers production items to designated work areas for processing. Delivers processed goods to storage or for the next stage of processing. Stacks processed items in racks, bins, or areas of the warehouse. Packs products in containers or on pallets. Cleans his/her machine and around work areas. Assists other production workers in production activities. Handles special projects, as assigned.
