Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ER Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Evenings Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER experience License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Minimum of 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience - Must pass DYS exam prior to acceptance - Competency in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes - Ability to maintain sterile field Description: Seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse with a strong background in trauma care. The role involves providing critical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Nurses are expected to float between facilities as needed. All staff must possess a valid nursing license and required certifications. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Common patient diagnoses include trauma, burns, and pediatric cases. Candidates must be prepared for an initial skills assessment. Educational focus areas also include lifts, restraints, and wound care. Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends, is required. Shifts will vary, with both early and late starts. Healthcare teams include dedicated medical professionals available 24/7. Ongoing support and resources are available for professional development.
