Contractor High Throughput Cellular Assays (6 Months)

Monte Rosa Therapeutics is seeking a passionate Contractor High Throughput Cellular Assays with the experience to implement and run complex cellular assays for a 6‑month contract. This position is a key role in the pivotal team responsible for Automation and Screening Technologies & hits‑to‑leads support for Monte Rosa’s diverse pipeline. The ideal candidate will help evolve Monte Rosa’s hit identification and hits‑to‑leads endeavors by embracing novel assay technologies, enhancing overall processes, and actively driving internal and external partnerships. Responsibilities and Qualifications Perform a variety of molecular and cellular biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture, protein purification, and Western blotting. Implement and help execute cell‑based and biochemical assays using technologies such as fluorescence, luminescence, TR‑FRET, AlphaScreen. Utilize automated liquid handling systems and laboratory robotics. Analyze and interpret experimental data, compile results, and present findings to the team. Maintain cell lines and prepare stock solutions. Manage laboratory inventories and handle biohazardous materials according to safety protocols. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and guidelines. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a life science with 1–2 years of industrial experience. Experience in mammalian cell line engineering (CRISPR tagging, lentiviral transduction, overexpression) in both adherent and suspension cell lines is a plus. Proven track record of striving for high levels of innovation and scientific excellence. Flexibility to accommodate rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
