Caregiver Position

A Place At Home is looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living. Our caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, independent, and engaged in the place they call home.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as assigned.
• Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when needed.
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan and applicable guidelines.
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
• Assist with errands and other approved activities.
• Encourage independence, dignity, and quality of life.
• Follow the client's individualized care plan.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Protect client privacy and confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the office care team.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• 1 Year caregiving experience, required.
• Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Ability to pass required drug tests.
• Ability to meet applicable employment and caregiver requirements.
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with in-home caregiving.
