Senior Accountant

About The Role Join our client's finance team as a Senior Accountant, where you'll ensure financial accuracy and support strategic business decisions. Collaborate closely with the Controller to streamline processes and maintain financial compliance. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate transaction records. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations. Assist in preparing financial statements and internal reports. Execute month-end and year-end close procedures. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, resolving discrepancies. Ensure compliance with GAAP and support audits. Conduct variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist in gathering data for tax filings. Analyze weekly cash flows to ensure liquidity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2-4 years of public accounting experience preferred; manufacturing exposure is a plus. Proficiency with accounting software; Great Plains is a plus. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate finance principles. Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities. Work Environment Willing to travel up to 25%.
