Overview Emergency Veterinarian – Ethos ER Immerse Mentorship Program – Riverside, CA. Offering $100,000 student loan reimbursement. Responsibilities Work with an experienced emergency veterinarian to manage emergency presentations Perform procedures and navigate challenging client conversations Make critical medical decisions with mentorship and feedback Participate in one-on-one mentorship and ongoing coaching beyond the formal program Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and collaboration Program Structure and Support The ER Immerse Program is designed to help veterinarians build confidence, competence, and independence in emergency medicine while receiving structured support from start to finish. Support includes one-on-one mentorship and continues after the formal training ends, under the leadership of Dr. Lewis. Learn through: Weekly doctor discussions and case reviews Collaborative learning and case-based education Community outreach opportunities, including shelter medicine Ongoing mentorship and coaching Hands-on procedural training A culture where questions are encouraged and learning never stops Program Highlights Train directly with the Medical Director Dedicated mentor on every shift Surgical training opportunities available No on-call responsibilities Competency-based curriculum Weekly live virtual didactic rounds Emergency and Critical Care Rounds Journal Clubs VetBloom asynchronous learning platform Regular continuing education events led by specialists and experienced emergency clinicians Strong support system before, during, and after completion of the program Compensation and Benefits During Mentorship: Starting salary – $140,000 during training.
