We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Crane/Yard Dog Operator for a temporary, temp-to-hire position. This role is critical to our yard operations, involving the safe and efficient movement of materials, loading, and unloading using overhead cranes and yard jockey equipment.

Crane/Yard Dog Operator Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $21.00 to $23.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- Weekend Shift ( Friday through Sunday from 04:00am to 04:30pm )
- Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently for material selection, loading, and placement.
- Operate a yard dog (yard jockey/hostler) to move scrap trailers and other equipment as needed.
- Perform accurate identification, selection, and loading of materials to their proper locations.
- Unload incoming trucks in a timely and organized manner.
Crane/Yard Dog Operator Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating overhead cranes is essential.
- Demonstrated experience operating a yard jockey (yard dog/hostler) is essential.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Ability to accurately identify and handle materials.
- Excellent attention to detail for transaction accuracy.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to support colleagues.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
