Senior Director of Data Science
Virtual Vocations Inc
Leading a team of data scientists, the full-time Senior Director of Data Science will drive the development of AI/ML models and strategies, partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize decision-making and influence senior leadership in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Partner with software engineers and researchers to enhance decision-making through advanced modeling Define and implement strategies for AI/ML model development and evaluation Communicate complex modeling systems to senior business leaders, addressing risks and opportunities Required qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative field with relevant experience in data analytics At least 6 years of experience with open source programming languages for large-scale data analysis Minimum 6 years of experience in machine learning and relational databases Proven experience in building, validating, and backtesting statistical models Strong familiarity with cloud computing platforms and open-source tools
