Based at a state-of-the-art research facility equipped with advanced, industry-leading laboratory technology, you will focus on human intestinal organoid biology, ex vivo tissue processing, and cell-based in vitro assays from design through data analysis.

responsibilities:

• Culture, passage, and plate human intestinal organoids to support research objectives.
• Perform assays in primary 3D cell culture models such as Transwells or MPS/CIVM platforms.
• Test biologic and small molecule compounds in cell-based assays for functional readouts like cytokine release and gene expression.
• Execute advanced molecular and cellular biology techniques including ELISA, MSD, and qPCR.
• Process ex vivo human tissue and isolate organoids, fibroblasts, and immune cells.
• Design, execute, interpret, and document experimental results independently to validate hypotheses.

 
qualifications:

Required Skills:

• BS in Biological Sciences or related
• 4+ years of related industry experience
• Sterile in vitro cell culture techniques with challenging cell types
• Hands-on experience with primary human organoids and ex vivo human tissue processing
• Experience with 3D cell culture models (transwells or MPS/CIVM)
• Proficiency in ELISA, MSD, or Luminex.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cell-based assay development
• Proficiency in multi-color flow cytometry
• Experience with gene expression analysis by qPCR
• Experience working with fibroblasts and immune cells (T cells, B cells, monocytes).
