Job Description:
-Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc)
-Sorts and organizes freight
-Operate various types of material handling equipment (forklift, electric pallet jacks, order selectors)
-Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
-Pick, scan, sort and label.
-Identify unusable pallets
-Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
-Select and scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy.
-Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Pay Range: $24.00 - $24.00 per hour
Pay Scale: Not applicable

Shift:
Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Must be willing to train the 1st week on the Monday to Friday schedule

Job Requirements:
-6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
-Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
-Ability to operate material handling equipment preferred (ie electric pallet jack, forklift, order selector)
-Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
-Excellent customer service required
-Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
-Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
-Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
-Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
-Effective communication skills
-Safety shoes are required
-Other duties as assigned
