Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Observation Job Description: - Step into an exhilarating role as a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Observation Unit (COU), where you will provide exceptional care for high-risk Cath Lab patients before and after procedures. - Key Responsibilities: - Admit patients with compassion and professionalism. - Prepare patients for Cath procedures, including charting pre-procedure checklists, starting IVs, and ensuring access preparations. - Assist in preparing patients for Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE). - Provide recovery support for patients post-Cath who have received conscious sedation. - Safely sedate, circulate, and expertly document bedside procedures such as CV and TEE. - Discharge patients with detailed education, thorough documentation, and a warm send-off. - Work Schedule: - Shifts vary: 3 x 12-hour days (0600-1830, 0700-1930, 0800-2030). - Rotational call requirements, approximately every 4 to 6 weeks, including weekends. - Qualifications: - Valid RN license in Arizona or a compact state. - Current ACLS and BLS certifications. - Experience in PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center is considered on a case-by-case basis.
