Summer Arts Usher (2026 004091)

This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The minimum starting rate for the position is 14.95 per hour. Core Responsibilities: Arrive on time and report to the House Manager. Assist with pre-show tasks such as printing programs, setting up chairs, and completing the crowd management pre-show safety checklist. Accept tickets or hand out programs to patrons at the door. Show patrons to their seats. Enforce House policies. Be available to assist patrons with questions regarding venue resources and program details. At the end of performance, clear venue of programs and other items left behind and assist house manager and/or performing artist as needed. Complete event report forms after each performance. Qualifications: Understanding of performance etiquette preferred. Crowd Management certification required. Must be able to understand and speak English clearly and articulately. Must be 100% reliable, courteous, and assertive. Interest or experience in music, dance, or theatre a plus. Able to work independently. Physical Demands & Working Conditions: This position requires working outdoors in the summer; lifting, carrying, and setting up folding chairs and music stands; and walking the grounds to assist patrons.
