Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Location: Lone Tree, CO

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 45
• Number of Staff: 90
• Patient Ratios: 4-5 patients per RN during days/nights
• Staff Breakdown:
  • Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, 4-5 MSTs
  • Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, 4-5 MSTs
• Type of Equipment: Lifts, dynamap, cardiac monitoring equipment
• EMR: Meditech

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of current acute care hospital experience, particularly in PCU.

Qualifications:

• Required Skills:
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in cardiac and ICU settings
  • Prior experience with Meditech
  • NIHSS certification

Typical Procedures:

• Administration of cardiac drips and management of cardiac catheters
• Chest tube management, wound care, TPN/lipid administration
