Job Description WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: May include, but not limited to:
- Attention to cleanliness of all service tools (dishware, glasses, utensils, etc.)
- Work in somewhat isolated environment with minimal staff contact
- Maintain, clean, and correct any problems with dish machine
- Maintain cleanliness of work area during all periods of business (especially busy times)
- Effectively take in, organize, and put away all delivered product from various vendors - following all food safety policies and procedures (stocking of product)
- Be aware of your surrounding
- Need to have knowledge of the operation of the dish machine
- Close area properly, according to the training manual/department
- Able to take part in cleaning projects with team mates as assigned by a supervisor
- Removal of trash and properly disposing trash in designated area
- Mop and sweep as needed
- Assist with hotboxes and the transportation of food
- Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
- Able to stoop and bend
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time
- Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
- Able to comply with safety and health code standards
- Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
