Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

May include, but not limited to:
  • Attention to cleanliness of all service tools (dishware, glasses, utensils, etc.)
  • Work in somewhat isolated environment with minimal staff contact
  • Maintain, clean, and correct any problems with dish machine
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area during all periods of business (especially busy times)
  • Effectively take in, organize, and put away all delivered product from various vendors - following all food safety policies and procedures (stocking of product)
  • Be aware of your surrounding
  • Need to have knowledge of the operation of the dish machine
  • Close area properly, according to the training manual/department
  • Able to take part in cleaning projects with team mates as assigned by a supervisor
  • Removal of trash and properly disposing trash in designated area
  • Mop and sweep as needed
  • Assist with hotboxes and the transportation of food
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
  • Able to stoop and bend
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time
  • Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
  • Able to comply with safety and health code standards
  • Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
