What You'll Do

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients while leading complex tax engagements from planning through execution. This role is highly client-facing and involves reviewing sophisticated tax returns, providing strategic guidance, and mentoring a team of tax professionals. You will play a key role in developing client relationships, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and driving practice growth. This position offers a clear path to Principal, with increasing leadership responsibility and the opportunity to influence the direction and expansion of the practice.

• Lead and manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for tax strategy and planning
• Review complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns for accuracy and compliance
• Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimize liabilities and achieve financial goals
• Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff and managers, including direct report responsibilities
• Manage multiple engagements, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships (advisory, planning, etc.)
• Support firm growth through business development and community involvement
• Collaborate with leadership on practice operations and long-term growth strategy

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience within a public accounting environment.
• Extensive experience reviewing complex tax returns and leading client engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality tax planning and advisory services.
• Proven leadership experience with responsibility for managing, mentoring, and developing team members.
• Strong working knowledge of tax preparation and compliance software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Range

$90,000—$115,000 USD
