Training Specialist

Work Model: Remote with limited in-person meetings Duration: 24 Months | Possible Extension Pay Rate: $30/hour on W2 Job details: We are seeking a motivated Training Specialist I to support the development and delivery of training programs for a Customer Service Contact Center environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain training materials, including instructor-led training (ILT), SOPs, job aids, eLearning content, and assessments . Facilitate classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training programs, demonstrations, workshops, and meetings. Partner with operational and product teams to identify training gaps and develop effective solutions. Track training participation, assessment results, retraining needs, and program effectiveness. Develop assessment criteria and processes to evaluate and improve training programs. Utilize modern training methodologies, tools, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) . Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement training initiatives. Participate in emergency or storm response assignments when required. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of progressive training experience . Proven experience creating and facilitating technical and operational training programs . Experience developing training materials for both classroom and eLearning environments . Strong facilitation, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple training programs and stakeholders simultaneously. Experience with LMS platforms, Microsoft Office, and other training-related tools . Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the utility, energy, customer service, or regulated industry . Knowledge of electric or gas operations, policies, processes, systems, or tariffs. Understanding of customer experience processes within a regulated environment.
