Shipping Coordinator

Join a dynamic contract manufacturing shop renowned for its extensive local customer base. As a Shipping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are shipped accurately and efficiently while providing essential communication and administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents accurately and in compliance with company and customer specifications.
• Cross-reference purchase orders with shipping documentation to ensure proper invoicing and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with shipping personnel to ensure customer orders are packaged and shipped in a timely manner.
• Assist with general office tasks such as filing, answering phones, and responding to customer inquiries.
• Contact customers to schedule pickups and coordinate COD payments.
• Perform data entry and maintain shipping records.
• Support overall team operations by performing additional tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

This role operates within a machine shop setting as well as an office environment, providing a unique blend of hands-on and administrative tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
