Clinical Role
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an ongoing nocturnist locums opportunities in Gainesville, Florida. The APP will work alongside three nocturnists with physician support available throughout the night.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: December 8, 2026
- Contract Length: 1 year
- Schedule: Night coverage
- Shift: 7:00 pm-7:00 am
- Coverage: Responsible for cross-cover floor calls
- Physician Support: Three nocturnists on-site to support the APP overnight
- Admissions: Additional APP coverage handles hospital cross-coverage and admissions, averaging 1-2 admissions per night
- Additional Setting: Coverage includes a rehab unit with approximately 30 inpatients
- Requirements: Active Florida license, Florida DEA, and clean file
- Credentialing: Emergency privileges may be available
