About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Breast Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Tuesday through Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM) Experience: Minimum 1 year of breast imaging experience (mammography/breast ultrasound) License: AZ mammography and radiology license (BR certified under ARRT) or RDMS Breast Ultrasound certification Certifications: BLS Certification, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Breast (RDMS-BR) via ARDMS Must-Have: Breast imaging experience Description: The position involves performing breast ultrasound examinations. Candidates will operate in a dedicated breast imaging unit with no clinical involvement. The role entails conducting an average of 16 ultrasound scans per day and 25 mammography scans per day. Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Cerner, and PACS is required. Radiologists will be present on-site during work hours. IV experience is a plus but not required. Scrubs will be teal in color. This position does not require weekend, holiday, or call shifts. The environment is acute care.
