Environmental Planning AnalystKimley-Horn's Riverside, California (CA) office is seeking a recent grad to join as an Environmental Planning Analyst in 2027! This is not a remote position.ResponsibilitiesHelp prepare Environmental Quality Act documents, environmental impact reports, and negative and mitigated negative declarationsAssist in Specific Plans, Master Plans, and other environmental or planning policy documents in support of a full range of infill and/or land development related projectsSupport various project managers and collaborating with team members.Will likely gain expertise in: CEQA/NEPA, sustainability, climate action planning, ENVISION, LEED, and Salmon-SafeEnvironmental clearance associated with local comprehensive plans/local land use planningWorking with infrastructure projects from across industries such as transportation, transit, land planning, aviationQualificationsA Planning Degree (Bachelors or Masters) from an accredited program by Summer of 2027 in these majors:City and Regional PlanningUrban PlanningEnvironmental Science/Sustainability/ManagementOr Other Related MajorSalary Range: $87,500 - $91,000Why Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
