Pay: $87.50/hour Schedule: 36 hours per week Shifts: Day shift (12 hours, 3 days a week) Location: Sylmar, CA Duration: 16-week assignment

Minimum Qualifications

Education Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Licenses and Certifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications MAB or CPI certification LA City Fire and Life Safety Card

Experience:

Minimum 35 years of recent Operating Room (OR) experience Strong background in perioperative services including pre-op and post-anesthesia care Experience across multiple specialties (Orthopedics, Robotics, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, General Surgery, etc.) Experience in staff supervision, training, and workflow coordination

Preferred:

Leadership experience in Operating Room settings Experience managing multidisciplinary surgical teams

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the Operating Room Support and coordinate surgical services including scheduling and case flow Supervise and guide OR staff, ensuring high-quality patient care Assist in complex and routine surgical procedures Ensure proper use and management of surgical instruments and equipment Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards Provide leadership in adapting to changing surgical demands and priorities
