We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical / Progressive Care Unit (Med-Surg/PCU) for a 13-week night-shift contract in Lancaster, Ohio. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process while supporting safe and effective care for surgical Medical-Surgical and PCU patients.

This position requires strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills. The RN will also provide patient and family education, administer medications and treatments, communicate changes in patient condition, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care using the nursing process.

• Administer medications and treatments safely and implement physician orders as prescribed.

• Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate significant changes or clinical concerns to the appropriate provider.

• Provide patient and family education throughout the admission, treatment, and discharge process.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation while coordinating care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Minimum 1 Year of Registered Nurse Experience Required.

• Current, Active Ohio Registered Nurse License Required.

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program With a Diploma, ADN, or BSN Required.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Current ACLS and PALS Certifications Required.

This contract opportunity is suited for a Med-Surg/PCU RN comfortable providing surgical nursing care on 12-hour night shifts with holiday coverage.
