Heavy Equipment and Crane Mechanic

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanic to support maintenance and repair operations on a wide range of equipment including heavy equipment, semi-trucks, over-the-road cranes, forklifts, manlifts, and other industrial vehicles.This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and keeping operations running safely and efficiently.Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Overtime May Be RequiredPay: $22 – $26 per hour (DOE)Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical issues on heavy equipment, semis, cranes, forklifts, and related vehiclesPerform preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment and fleet vehiclesRemove, disassemble, repair, and reinstall components such as engines, transmissions, differentials, pumps, and hydraulic systemsRepair or replace mechanical parts including bearings, valves, gears, starters, and brakesTroubleshoot electrical and ignition systemsPerform brake work, suspension repairs, and front-end alignmentsUtilize diagnostic scanners and tools to identify equipment issuesMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFollow all company safety procedures and PPE requirementsQualificationsStrong mechanical background with experience on heavy equipment, semis, cranes, or industrial vehiclesAbility to troubleshoot and repair diesel, hydraulic, and mechanical systemsExperience using diagnostic tools and equipmentAbility to read and interpret repair manuals and technical documentsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environmentsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPreferred Certifications & ExperienceOSHA-10Brake CertificationForklift CertificationAC CertificationCrane or heavy equipment repair experience strongly preferredYou should be proficient in:Heavy Equipment RepairMechanical Troubleshooting SkillsMaintenance and Repair SkillsDiesel & Heavy Equipment SystemsHydraulic Systems & ComponentsEquipment Diagnostics & TroubleshootingCrane & Lifting Equipment SystemsAerial & Utility Equipment SystemsEquipment Repair & Maintenance #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
