Position OverviewHigh Point Family and Marriage Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a remote capacity, serving patients within our Detox Center. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, depending on experience. As an essential member of our clinical team, you will provide invaluable counseling services tailored to the unique needs of individuals grappling with co-occurring disorders and substance use challenges.

Work EnvironmentThis position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a highly collaborative and supportive work culture. Our Detox Center is dedicated to high-quality therapeutic practices, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care. You'll work closely with a team of professionals, including the Clinical Director and Executive Director, to create and maintain a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes long-term recovery and healing.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client counseling needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
- Evaluating clients for substance use disorders using DSM criteria, and determining appropriate levels of care based on ASAM guidelines.
- Preparing the substance abuse counseling component of client treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Collaborating in the development of discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate smooth transitions to appropriate care levels.
- Documenting all counseling services, assessments, referrals, and follow-ups meticulously in the client's clinical record.
- Managing a caseload efficiently, engaging in case management and utilization review as needed to track client progress.
- Coordinating support services for clients and their families, recording all interactions and interventions in clinical records.
- Engaging with referral sources, including legal and educational institutions, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach to implement interventions for crisis situations and ensure client safety.
Your work will focus on clients experiencing substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health issues. You will provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group sessions, effectively promoting an atmosphere of healing and support that fosters recovery and resilience in patients. You will play an integral role in helping clients navigate their recovery journey, empowering them to build healthier futures.
QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Illinois.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Strong professionalism, therapeutic boundaries, and cultural competency.
- Self-motivation and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Prior experience working with clients in rehabilitation settings.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices in addiction treatment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.
