Responsibilities Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards Work all café positions - our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable - including working in our kitchens to make food to order Help run and administer a smooth schedule for breaks, meal period and shifts Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasks Lead all shift duties as directed by the manager on duty Lead store cleanliness and safety - always ready for guests and teammates Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team Responsible for balancing and managing deposits Active in inventory and waste management Adhere to opening and closing duties checklist and proceduresPerform all other duties at the discretion of the store manager or other members of leadership Qualifications 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred Previous fast paced coffee experience preferred Prior supervisory experience preferred Drive-Thru experience is preferred Guest service focused, solution oriented Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Must be available to work 28 hours/week including nights, weekends and holidays Must be able to work a mixture of open, closes and mid-shifts as dictated by the business needs About Better Buzz Founded in 2002 by two college students with a dream and a coffee cart, Better Buzz has grown into a thriving community with locations across California, Nevada, and Arizona.
