Logistics Planning Manager - Europe(A110145)

JOB TITLE: Logistics Planning Manager Europe

Reporting Line: to Head of Logistics Europe

1. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY :

Coordinate and lead XPeng vehicle logistics planning, network design and associated activities, support respective services procurement across Europe

2. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and schedule XPeng vehicle planning activities across Europe.
  • Support Lead buyer tasks for XPeng vehicle logistics services (terminal, compound, transportation, handling, movements, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with sourcing process, support approval and operational implementations.
  • Maintain XPeng vehicle logistics contract database together with HQ purchasing
  • Prepare annual freight budget and ensure monthly follow up vs. actual.
  • Prepare XPeng vehicle logistics cost per unit calculations, maintain CPU- tracking on monthly basis.
  • Initiate XPeng vehicle logistics cost estimates, identify and implement cost savings initiatives, lead network optimization studies.
  • Strengthen business relation with suppliers, generate and maintain XPeng vehicle logistics service provider database.

3. PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- EDUCATION:

University/College degree, with specialization on Business Studies / Logistics / Economics and/or equivalent experience

- PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Min. 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field of logistics / purchasing - automotive / finished vehicle logistics experience strongly preferred

- COMPETENCIES NEEDED:

Good negotiation skills

Problem solving / analytical capabilities

Communication & Team player

Ability to work independently

Customer focus & quality orientation

Managing the job with performance orientation

Pro-active attitude

- LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Fluent English oral, written

Mandarin is advantage, other language is a plus

Good communication and presentation skills.

- COMPUTER LITERACY:

Proficient in using various office software,

Open to learn other IT applications used in the daily business

4. Others:

Responsible for keeping Health and Safety regulations

Acting according to the rules of legislation

Responsible for working according to quality regulations.

Other responsibilities related to job content, rules, etc. regulated by the internal procedures of XPeng and the direct Supervisor.
