Athletic Trainer

Summary The Student Athletic Trainer will assist the certified athletic trainer in providing quality healthcare services to student-athletes. The Student Athletic Trainer will contribute with the management of sports injuries, managing practice and competition setups, and administering basic first aid. This role is a hands‑on learning position for individuals exploring careers in sports medicine, physical therapy, or healthcare. All duties are performed under the direct supervision of a certified athletic trainer. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set-up field with necessary medical equipment and supplies Restocking of medical supplies in both athletic training rooms Athlete practice and game coverage preparation including set-up, taping and bracing, stretching, and the administration of therapeutic modalities Assist with the inventory of both athletic training facilities Assist with the rehabilitation programs of student-athletes Assist with the data entry / filing systems of injury tracking programs Qualifications Must be a student at Saint Xavier University Must be Federal Work Study Eligible Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter Additional Expectations We inspire success by working together to provide meaningful, personalized service in a spirit of excellence.
