Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Pediatrician, you will join our established pediatric team with Dignity Health Medical Group Pediatrics - St. Joseph's in Phoenix. This team has provided compassionate pediatric care to our community for over 55 years. In this role, you will provide comprehensive pediatric care in our 100% outpatient clinic, including well-child check-ups, developmental tracking, immunizations, and the treatment of common seasonal and acute illnesses. The clinic cares for newborns, infants, children and adolescents. To be successful in this role, you will be a compassionate and skilled Pediatrician driven to make a profound, lasting impact on children's health. You must possess strong clinical expertise in pediatric health and the ability to collaborate effectively within a physician-led team environment. You should be committed to maintaining the high standard of compassionate, family-centered care that our practice is known for. Volume: 20-24 patients per day Work shift: flexible 4 or 5 day work week Clinic: 36 hours clinic and nursery patient facing time and 4 admin hours Call: Night and weekend call coverage, approx 1:5 Job Requirements Required Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution Completed ACGME Residency training Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals Team-oriented provider passionate about providing quality care and furthering the healing ministry, while serving the poor and underprivileged Where You'll Work Hello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic, research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.
