About the Role The Commercial Business Operations team is the connective tissue and operational backbone of PitchBook’s Commercial organization. We sit at the intersection of strategy and execution — close enough to leadership to understand where the business is going and embedded deeply enough in day‑to‑day operations to help get it there. We believe the space between strategy and execution is where the most important work happens. Owning that space means staying close to every part of the Commercial organization, ensuring clear priorities, informed partners, and aligned teams. Primary Job Responsibilities Own end-to-end program management for Commercial initiatives and evergreen programs, including scoping, planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and reporting Build and maintain program dashboards and tracking systems, providing regular status updates to Commercial stakeholders Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, and scope changes across programs Facilitate cross-functional meetings and working sessions, driving clear actions and outcomes Serve as the Commercial workstream lead within company-wide programs and strategic initiatives Own the global Commercial knowledge infrastructure including the strategy and governance of the Commercial intranet site and resource centralization across teams and leadership levels Support the evaluation and adoption of tools, technologies, and practices that enhance program delivery Actively contribute to PitchBook’s program management community through workshops, training sessions, and mentorship programs Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of professional work experience, including 2+ years in program management Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to build and maintain program dashboards, tracking systems, and status reporting frameworks Ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across teams Operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear status updates, executive-ready documentation, and program materials for diverse audiences Experience owning knowledge management or resource centralization initiatives (intranet sites, decision logs, or similar) is preferred Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future Benefits + Compensation at PitchBook Physical Health Additional medical wellness incentives STD, LTD, AD&D, and life insurance Emotional Health Paid sabbatical program after four years Paid family and paternity leave Annual educational stipend Ability to apply for tuition reimbursement CFA exam stipend Robust training programs on industry and soft skills Employee assistance program Generous allotment of vacation days, sick days, and volunteer days Social Health Matching gifts program Employee resource groups Dependent Care FSA Employee referral bonus program Quarterly team building events Shared ownership employee stock program Monthly transportation stipend Compensation Annual base salary: $100,000 - $100,000 Target annual bonus percentage: 10% Working Conditions At the heart of our company is a belief in the power of in‑person collaboration.
