TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74104!

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 13.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Critical thinking skills - Decisive judgment - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Capability to work in a stressful environment Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. The complexity of the work requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure. Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. The unit serves a general surgical adult population and has telemetry capability. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6. The department is supported by PCTs and a healthcare unit coordinator. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring and monitor techs for those on telemetry is available. Travelers may be required to work up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period and holidays if needed.
