Vice President, Facilities Engineering and Maintenance

the client is seeking a Vice President, Facilities Engineering and Maintenance. This executive leader will provide oversight for facilities, engineering, and maintenance operations across a broad network of care and corporate environments, excluding real estate functions. The role reports to the Vice President of Corporate Construction, Real Estate, and Facilities. The Vice President, Facilities Engineering and Maintenance will oversee facilities engineering and maintenance responsibilities spanning hospitals and ambulatory sites, as well as senior living, residential, and corporate facilities. The position provides executive leadership for day-to-day facilities operations and will support continuous improvement efforts across engineering and maintenance services, while ensuring effective management of large-scale facility portfolios and site operations. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred. The role expects at least 15 years of leadership experience in healthcare or research-facility engineering and operations. Candidates should demonstrate strong proficiency with facilities operations software, data analytics, and CMMS platforms, along with expertise in construction and facilities operations, continuous quality improvement, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
