Cardiac Monitor Technician

Observes and analyzes cardiac rhythms of monitored patients; reports and responds appropriately to the Registered Nurse any changes in patient's rhythm.

EDUCATION

HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
Completion of EKG monitoring course
Completions of Monitor Technician Training
Medical Terminology
Cardiac Arrythmia recognition
Cardiac drugs and drips

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Previous telemetry monitoring
